The United Nations Summit on Biodiversity on 30 September 2020 will highlight the crisis facing humanity from the degradation of biodiversity and the urgent need to accelerate action on biodiversity for sustainable development.

In advance of the Summit, France, Germany and UK were among more than 60 countries promising to put wildlife and climate at heart of post-Covid recovery plans.
