Part A of the Fisheries Industry Science Partnerships scheme opens

The Fisheries Industry Science Partnerships scheme is now open for applications for grant funding to develop research proposals (FISP Part A) until midday 25 April. Up to £20k is available per application.

The scheme improves and shares knowledge of fisheries and aquaculture by funding data collection and research to support sustainable fisheries management. This will be done through collaboration between the fishing and seafood industry and research organisations.

Defra plans to open for applications for full research projects (FISP Part B) in the week beginning 21st March and will close on 16th May. Contracts of up to £300,000 are available to carry out a full research project (through FISP part B).

For more information and guidance on how to apply on BRAVO, please see the FISP guidance page.
