The Environment Agency’s Challenges and Choices consultation was due to close on 24 April, but it will now be extended to 24 September 2020. The Environment Agency are informing external stakeholders to ensure everyone has the opportunity to respond to the consultation. The EA will keep these timescales under review as the coronavirus outbreak unfolds, and are working with colleagues in Natural Resources Wales and Scottish Environment Protection Agency to ensure river basin management planning across administrative boundaries can continue effectively.
