In December 2020 we published a discussion paper on public value to which we received a number of helpful responses. This paper sets out the key themes from the responses. We provide our reflections on the points made and how we might build on this to support the delivery of further social and environmental value.

Principles will be based on

• scope of public value
• drivers for decision-making and transparency
• collaboration and systems thinking
• maturity and focus
