The pro-Europe petition which started directly after the referendum now has 4 million+ votes
The role of Parliament in this process seems to be being overlooked. Given that the petition will prompt a debate in Parliament and the majority of MPs are pro-Europe this will test that time old challenge of individual MPs representing their constituents or taking their own view. There are likely to be other petitions and further prompted debates.
