Stop commercial whaling! Petition to David Cameron

MCS ‘The global ban against commercial whaling is under attack. For the last 30 years, the whaling ban has said whales should be protected from hunters. But Japan, Norway and Iceland’s governments are still killing whales for profit, and now the ban itself is under huge pressure. This year, David Cameron promised to oppose commercial whaling in the Conservative Manifesto. Sign now to demand he makes the UK a champion for whale protection.

At 100,000 signatures, this petition will be considered for debate in Parliament. Since commercial whaling was banned globally in 1986, almost 30,000 whales have been killed and sold as meat by Japan, Norway and Iceland. If you think this makes no sense, and is wrong, you’re right!‘

Take action now! Sign the petition.
