    The Defra Air Quality consultation – A clear indication of Government’s approach to the environment

    The consultation on air quality that the Government were forced into by the Supreme Court was released at the same time as Jeremy Corbyn’s election victory was announced. Another good day to ‘bury bad news’. Which tells us everything about the Government’s commitment to clean air. Despite the clear links to deaths, and warning from the Natural Capital Committee Government actions have been a poor, lacking in ambition and leadership.
