The Environment Agency has opened the Expression of Interest (EOI) process for the 2025/2026 Championing Coastal Coordination (3C’s) funding round. This year’s process is running on a reduced scale due to a smaller budget and shortened timescale.
For this funding year, only one thematic focus will be supported, allowing the programme to consolidate achievements to date and prepare for future activity. The current round is intended to maintain momentum while setting the foundation for the next phase, subject to the outcome of the 2025 Government Spending Review.
The EOI window is open for a limited period—from Friday 25th July to Monday 25th August 2025—and applicants are encouraged to submit proposals aligned with the programme’s streamlined priorities.
The 3C’s initiative aims to strengthen coordination across coastal areas in England, supporting local and regional efforts to manage coastal challenges and build long-term resilience.
Full EOI documentation and submission guidance is available online. Interested organisations should review the materials carefully and submit proposals before the deadline.
