This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join the Solway Firth Partnership (SFP) team to lead the new SCAMP Innovation in Restoration project as Project Manager.
Do you have a passion for making things happen? Challenging accepted ways of doing things? Do you thrive on making connections?
This is your chance to make a lasting positive impact on the future health of the Solway seascape and influence how we respond to the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss. Focusing on practical research based on marine and coastal habitat restoration, you will drive forward the development of a new marine research centre based in Stranraer.
You will be an enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated person with an inclination for innovation. You will be responsible for establishing a new marine research centre in Stranraer to provide a focal point in South West Scotland for innovation in marine and coastal habitat restoration, practical research into restoration techniques, and achieving cost effective outcomes.
