Exposed: The collapse of green space provision in England and Wales

    NewsWater

This research shows that green space provision in new developments in England and Wales has drastically declined over recent years.

The study, based on the People and Nature Survey, shows that individuals living in neighbourhoods built after 2000 are almost twice as likely to report having no access to a garden than those in developments dominated by housing built between 1930 to 1999. If they do have access, they are 30% more likely to report that they don’t like their garden. Click here to read the full analysis.
