The Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) partnership is inviting you to take part in the following consultation on the: draft revised Water Industry Strategic Environmental Requirements (WISER).

The draft revised WISER has been jointly developed by Environment Agency and Natural England.

The document has 2 parts which you can download below. WISER Part 1 sets out the environmental challenges that water companies must take into account when developing their business plans during Price Review 24 (2025-30) and summarises the statutory and non-statutory expectations of water companies. WISER Part 2: technical reference document sets out the expected approaches water companies should have regard to during PR24 and beyond.

We have set out 4 broad questions about the draft revised WISER and are interested in hearing your views. The questions can be found here: WISER consultation.

Your views are vital in helping us understand how WISER can be updated to ensure it is an effective tool for water companies in meeting their statutory obligations and the expectations of their customers.
