    Too many UK organisations failing to plan for very real prospect of a 4°C hotter climate

    As tactics go, talking our way to keeping global heating within 1.5oC of pre-industrial levels isn’t one we should be betting our (overheating, increasingly flood-prone) houses on. Yet that’s what we’re effectively doing in the run-up to COP26, Climate Change Committee (CCC) Chief Executive Chris Stark told an audience convened by CIWEM earlier this spring to discuss how well adaptation reporting is working.

    New Policy Report: Climate Change Adaptation Reporting

    The Adaptation Reporting Power is a critical part of the Climate Change Act that directs key parts of economy and society to report on how they’re managing climate risks, adapting and building resilience.

    How is it working? 

    We discussed the current state of adaptation reporting with Climate Change Committee (CCC) Chief Executive Chris Stark in a recent webinar produced in partnership with CCW and supported by WRc.
