Invasive species – take part in the UCL – Angling Trust survey

    NewsWater

Invasive non-native species are increasingly present in our waters causing significant impacts on our fish and sport.

The Angling Trust is undertaking a survey in collaboration with the University College London to understand current awareness of these species and what we at the Trust can do to assist in managing this issue.

It doesn’t matter whether you have heard of invasive species or not, your response will be invaluable in helping to tackle these species.

The findings of this survey will be used to:

    1. Identify where we need to focus our efforts to manage invasive species
    2. Improve advice on how to stop them being introduced into your waters

So far, we have had an amazing 3,600 responses to this survey, but with a few weeks to go we urge anyone with 10 minutes to spare to please complete the survey.

The survey is completely anonymous and can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/invasivespecies2020
