    Belching sheep – feeding on seaweed – helping to reduce methane emissions

    It is now being recognised that feeding grazing animals seaweeds can substantially reduce their methane emissions. An example reported by the BBC of a flock of sheep on Orkney that only eat seaweed is now being in used by scientists to better understand the physiology and processes at work. Click here to read more. This could be another product for farmed seaweed.
