Earlier this summer John Englander came to a major UK Flooding conference and provided the audience with starkest and clearest presentation on the effects of climate change on sea level rise.

We are already locked into that change and it’s not a question of if but when. The reality is that our coastline will be changing dramatically in our generation. Our generation have to plan for the scenarios that arise not least from the growing risks of extreme events.
