Committee on Climate Change: ‘We have today put six research projects out to tender to support the next UK Climate Change Risk Assessment Evidence Report, due in summer 2021. The research is being funded by Defra, the devolved administrations and research councils (NERC, ESRC, EPSRC), totalling £925K. Closing dates for bids range from 10th – 28th September 2018.
The projects are:
- Updated projections of future water availability (project manager – David Style)
- Updated projections of flood risk for the UK (project manager – Andrew Russell)
- Understanding how behaviour change affects climate risks and opportunities (project manager – David Style)
- Climate-driven threshold effects in the natural environment (project manager – Brendan Freeman)
- A consistent set of socio-economic dimensions for the CCRA3 Evidence Report (project manager – Andrew Russell)
- Interacting risks (project manager – Gemma Holmes)
