Environment Agency Starts £1.5bn Flood Framework Procurement
The Environment Agency is looking to appoint suppliers to a £1.5bn flood defence framework (January 15th). The government agency is seeking consultants and contractors to deliver its Flood and Coastal Risk Management capital programme as part of a collaborative delivery team.
Lot 1, worth up to £300M, is for professional services including design and consultancy services, project and economic appraisal and risk and safety management.
Lot 2 is for programme delivery, including construction engineering works, coastal works, site investigations and environmental assessment, worth up to £1.2bn.
The work will be split into six regions across the country
