Environment Agency Consultation on charges for permits – teleconference

    News

The Environment Agency is proposing to change the way they charge for various permits.  This could result in significantly increased charges for river restoration projects, including those helping to achieve WFD objectives. A consultation process is currently underway and we would encourage all catchment partnerships to respond.  The consultation and all supporting documents can be found via this link.

The EA are hosting a Q&A teleconference at 10am on Friday 12th January for anyone who wishes to ask questions or seek clarifications before responding to the consultation.  If you are interested in taking part please email Charlie Bell.  Please limit participation to one person per catchment partnership
