Survey of the current opportunities to improve management of the UK’s marine environment
You are invited to participate in a short online survey which is seeking to gather information on what the marine community perceives to be the current opportunities to improve management of the UK’s marine environment. The survey should take only 5 – 10 minutes to complete. The results of the survey will be presented as part of Coastal Futures 2018 and a summary circulated via CMS News.
Management of the UK marine environment is changing as a result of implementation of the Marine Acts. The UK’s decision to leave the EU will potentially bring further changes. Such changes present both risks and opportunities.
While much has been written on potential risks, there has been limited discussion about potential opportunities although it is clear that there are disparate views about what these opportunities might be. The short survey seeks to collect information from across marine stakeholders to better understand how the opportunities (both those arising from UK policy implementation and the consequences of EU exit) are perceived.
