Following the publication of the 10 years of MCCIP report card earlier this year, and a recent plenary session at MASTS, we are pleased to offer a webinar to key stakeholders with an interest in our work.
The webinar, entitled, “10 years of reporting marine climate change impacts: lessons from the science-policy interface” will provide an overview of how our understanding of the science evidence base has developed over 10 years of reporting, as well as the lessons we have learnt about communicating science to a range of end users. We will look at selected key topics from across the physical drivers of change, impacts on ecosystems and on wider society. In the second half of the webinar we will explore the development of the Scientific Integrity and Independence Risk Management Scheme (SIIRMS) under MCCIP and its wider applicability. Finally we will have an open discussion to learn more about what key marine climate change issues you are interested in and how MCCIP can help to support your work in the future.
The webinar will take place on Wednesday 15th November. Please register your interest by contacting office@mccip.org.uk stating your name and organisation.
