    Prize for young engineers or water or wastewater process engineering

    IChem are delighted to announce their 30th anniversary Young Process Engineer Prize sponsored by Arup. The winning entry will receive £1000. Details will be found at www.icheme.org/water-prize-conditions

    Process engineers from any country studying chemical engineering or working as process engineers in any sector, age 30 or under on our 30th anniversary on 23 September 2017, are eligible to enter, individually or in teams. The prize will be awarded to the best video presentation on a project or research topic. The presentation should be relevant to one or more of the following important themes:

    1. The use of digital technologies and analytics in the water sector
    2. Managing the growing global water demand /water resilience in cities
    3. Improved water supply/sanitation in developing countries
    4. Resource recovery/circular economy

    The video must be maximum 15 minutes, but you may be able to put over the features and benefits of your project in a shorter time – the important thing is to tell your story in a clear, engaging and informative way.
