Do you work with natural processes to reduce flood risk or improve the environment? Go to the RiverWiki to share your ideas or find inspiration. The RiverWiki has recently been updated in now holds more than 1000 river restoration case studies from around Europe. The RiverWiki is an interactive online source of information on restoration schemes from around Europe. You can search the database to find for example; all case studies from England; natural flood management schemes in Scotland; projects with monitoring or how much it cost to carry the works out. Recovery is not always easy and by sharing knowledge we can support revival, even under pressures from growing populations, ageing infrastructure and climate change.

The RiverWiki was developed as a partnership project including the Environment Agency, River Restoration Centre in the UK, CIRF in Italy, SYKE in Finland, DLG in the Netherland and Wetlands International.

Add your work to the RiverWiki or see what others are doing in your local catchment. Please note that you can add projects from anywhere in the catchment at any point from project planning to those already in place.  Click here to go to the RiverWiki home page
