At OCF, our mission is to help improve sustainable ocean and coastal management. We aim to achieve this by convening, connecting, and sharing knowledge across the sector. As we embark on a purposeful transformation, we are seeking a Head of Programmes & Engagement to lead the execution of our expanding portfolio.
This is a pivotal role for a “doer” who also understands the big picture. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our major in-person conferences and our evolving digital webinar and CPD offers. You will manage complex stakeholder relationships at the very heart of the UK’s marine conversation.

We are seeking a highly organised, commercially minded individual with an understanding of the sectors we work with. Whether your background is in policy, offshore wind, fisheries, communications, science, or nature conservation, we value your expertise and your ability to bring people together.
The Essentials:
- Proven Delivery: A strong track record of managing complex projects and high-profile workstreams.
- Stakeholder Management: Experienced in convening diverse groups and building consensus among senior stakeholders.
- Organisational Rigour: A natural aptitude for project management and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Sector Knowledge: A demonstrable background in the sectors we work with.
