Coastal Futures is the largest ocean conference of its kind in the UK and the 2025 edition will provide delegates with wide-ranging coverage of the critical current and future issues. The conference provides unrivalled knowledge sharing, networking, promotion, and training opportunities.
Ocean and Coastal Futures will once again host the Coastal Futures Conference at the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) in London. With additional networking space this year, there will be more opportunities to meet with colleagues than ever before.
This year’s theme is the ‘Path to 2030’. The date is etched across international goals, government policies, and legal targets. The UK has a new government, and this parliamentary term will take the country to the brink of 2030.
There are just five years until 2030. Is the UK and the world on track to reach low-carbon, nature-positive and sustainable ambitions?
Coastal Futures 2025 sets out to answer this question and cover the major themes in the estuarine, coastal and marine sectors.
New! Call for speakers and posters: open until Monday 14th October
This year we welcome offers for a presentation or a poster linked to one of the sessions below. Download the template and submit an abstract to conference@coastms.co.uk. Presenters will be informed about their submission by 21 October.
