Join two unique ocean events at London Climate Action Week
As part of London Climate Action Week 2026, there are two distinct opportunities from SOA UK to engage with the critical role of our oceans in climate action, from high-level policy discussions to interactive, public art.

On 24 June, the Sustainable Ocean Alliance UK are bringing together scientists, policymakers, innovators, and storytellers at London Business School for an evening exploring one question: how can the ocean be used in the fight against climate change?
Across three panels and a fireside chat, the event will cover everything from biodiversity and blue carbon to geopolitics, representation, and ocean storytelling — with space to connect over a networking reception after.

Art has always been a powerful tool for climate change. On 24 June, join in the heart of Soho for a free, interactive colouring experience that brings the ocean to life.
This is part of the Ocean Hub, a dedicated space at London Climate Action Week 2026 for the very first time, bringing together ocean-climate solutions under one blue thread, where ocean protection, nature recovery, and decarbonisation work as one to address the climate and biodiversity crisis.
Golden Square will have a giant collaborative colouring wall, designed and delivered by Fancy Features, specialists in telling stories through giant interactive art. Custom-built around ocean-climate themes, the wall brings to life the creatures and features of the deep sea, climate solutions like offshore wind and blue carbon, and the human-ocean connection.
Pick up a pen, add your colour, and become part of a living artwork. The completed installation will be exhibited as a lasting legacy of the event, with an associated social media campaign to carry the message further.
This is for everyone, across all ages and backgrounds. No art experience needed, just curiosity and care for our ocean.
📅 24 June 2026 | From 11am
