Farming and Marine Minister George Eustace, who has also stood as a UKIP candidate, has announced that backing the Leave Europe Campaign.

Some issues that arise:

1.  His boss Liz Truss is backing the stay in campaign – interesting tensions

2.  Defra have no plans on what to do if we leave (Truss at the Oxford Farming conference)

3.  So it will fall to Eustace to explain to farmers and fishermen what will happen if we leave –

4.  The fishing community have a deep scepticism of the CFP but what will be put in its place?

5.  Eustace will have a busy few months

6.   If we leave the Defra’s 5 year plan might need a little re-directing
