Environment Agency: A wide range of groups and organisations responded to this consultation, including water and energy companies, charities, non-governmental organisations, wildlife groups, industrial organisations and individuals. Through the consultation you told us that:
• you support the catchment based approach to river basin planning and delivery
• local delivery should be informed by an overarching strategy
• common issues could be tackled through working together across catchments
• it is essential that action planning is better joined up, for instance between flooding, environment, and agriculture, and for this to be supported by good evidence.
