Each week I scan 15+ websites in the water sector news of water, environmental and sustainability issues. So this week I see that this week it is invasive species week and also water saving week. All very worthy but you have to ask what the function of these weeks is if you only get to hear about them when they are over. World Oceans Day have got a big programme of materials and communications that is proactive and gives people a chance to really use the opportunity.
