We covered on 8^th March the opening of Part A of the Fisheries Industry Science Partnerships scheme.

Defra has announced that the Fisheries Industry Science Partnerships scheme is now open to bid for contracts to carry out full research projects (FISP Part B) until midday 16^th May. Up to £300K is available per bid.

You can also apply for grant funding to develop research proposals (FISP Part A) until midday 25th April. Up to £20k is available per application.

The scheme, part of the £100 million UK Seafood Fund, improves and shares knowledge of fisheries and aquaculture by funding data collection and research to support sustainable fisheries management.
