The Rivers Trust’s State of Our Rivers Report will, for the first time, allow every reader in England to understand the health of their local river and what they can do to improve it.

Rivers are fundamental to our food and water security, the recovery of nature, and our resilience to the climate crisis. It is vital that politicians and public can access clear evidence to understand the interconnectedness of river health. As well as showing the current state of our rivers, our report shows:

  • Why is it like this?
  • What are the problems?
  • What are the solutions?

Who should do what next?

Following the official launch of the report on 24th September (live streamed on Youtube), this webinar sees experts from The Rivers Trust explain its different elements and how to use them. Featuring brand new animations and infographics alongside a unique collection of mapped data, the State of Our Rivers Report will be an invaluable resource for understanding rivers and, ultimately, tackling our climate and biodiversity crises.
