We seek an exceptional HSE professional to join a busy Supply Chain and HSE Team as our Health, Safety & Environment Adviser. Reporting to the Supply Chain and HSE Director, you will work collaboratively across the organisation and its subsidiaries to provide exceptional Health, Safety and Environmental expertise.
The primary responsibility of the role is to work in conjunction with the Health & Safety Manager and the Environment Manager to assist in providing subject matter expertise to the industry, working in partnership with Members, (Government & Regulators) to shape the HSE agenda across the offshore Energy sector, ensuring risks are managed & best practice shared across the Industry. The successful candidate will undertake fundamental research and actively share insight with teams, members and key stakeholders to support policy formation, consultation responses and to develop solutions to industry issues.
Candidates must have a detailed and broad understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, especially within the UKCS. Have experience of health, safety or environmental issues, with a sound knowledge of the associated regulatory framework and how it is applied.
